Pellegrino & Co ‘Handcrafted'
Pellegrino & Co was established in 2016 by founder Mikey Pellegrino. While travelling the globe for almost two decades and experiencing a magnitude of different destinations and cultures Mikey has obtained a vast array of passion for arts and design. Every thing you see on this website is handcrafted, from the pouring and packaging of each candle to his furniture and art pieces.
His desire to be different is a reflection of the inspiring and breathtaking locations from which he visited and lived around the world. Places like Tangier Morocco, Palma Majorca, Seychelles, Los Angeles, Rome, Cannes, Monaco and Maldives, all have a special place in Mikey’s heart. These exotic locations are the foundation of Pellegrino & Co.’s unique palette. Pellegrino & Co collaborates with independent artists and designers. We look forward to introducing you to our work as our site takes form.
Mikey
‘I like to think that I can do anything with my hands and imagination. I like bold pieces and a little shock factor, I love lighting and fabrics and this is one of my passions. I get inspiration from people I've met which include the recently passed Alberto Pinto who I had the pleasure to be a guest of in his Moroccan Palace during a summer vacation in Europe. This is one of the highlights of my life, as well as being amongst his other guests and his entourage of creative minds, what more inspiration does one need’.
‘Alberto would create a dinner table like it was a painting, he would select random locations on his property in the garden and transform it into a room, it was both mesmerizing and unforgettable. He introduced me to the classic palm leaf wallpaper design I still love so much’.
‘I’m also inspired by my brother Danny Pellegrino who is the master craftsman of the family with his multi-award winning custom motorcycles, furniture and design’.
